Tamarack Creek

$2.25

“Tamarack Creek” is an exuberant romp, capturing the essence of John Muir’s experience camping at Yosemite’s Tamarack Creek. With spirited melodies intertwining with the ethereal sounds of uilleann pipes (a nod to Muir’s Celtic heritage), this SSAA, TTBB or SATB arrangement breathes life into Muir’s words, inviting singers to journey through nature’s splendor, where music and water dance through the wilderness.

Notes:

  1.   If you happen to have a bodhran handy, use it. Clapping or dancing or whatever is good too. Have fun!
  2.   If you can’t find uillean pipes and/or someone to play them, you can use a Celtic fiddler instead. (Have them play the drone on the D string and the melody up an octave on the A.)
