I&#8217;m always excited to take on new compositional challenges, and welcome inquiries about commissions, even those with short turnaround times or odd parameters.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Past commissions have included works for choir and string quartet, two educational musicals&nbsp; about fish, a song cycle about homelessness, a musical for a high school theatre program with mostly female performers, a choral piece for community choir celebrating a return to choral singing, a piece for men&#8217;s choir in memory of a late member who died by suicide, and a variety of others.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Rates depend on the scope of the work, instrumentation, length, turnaround time, and a variety of other factors. Even if your budget is small (and I know many are), please don&#8217;t assume you can&#8217;t afford a commission &#8212; I may be able to work with you to find something in your price range.
